Angeline A. Koesterer, nee Zipfel, 83, of Freeburg, Ill., born Aug. 20, 1923, in New Athens, Ill., died Friday, July 20, 2007, at Four Fountains Convalescent Center, Belleville, Ill.
Mrs. Koesterer was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeburg, Ill., and the Women's Club at the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph A. Koesterer, whom she married Feb. 10, 1945, and who died March 8, 1970; her parents, Alfred E. and Anna, nee Becker, Zipfel; three sisters, Dorothy Holst, Jeanette Zipfel, and Esther Reuter; two brothers, Roger Zipfel and Mark Zipfel; and three grandchildren, Alex Rae Koesterer, Bradley Stevenson, and Jesse Hacker.
