Pat was 71 years of age when she passed away at her residence. She was born to william and Marcella Farrell in cincinnati, Ohio. She was President of the Family Business, Mt. Ice Machines of West Palm Beach, Florida. She was a member of Palm Beach National Golf and Country club, Friends of the Corbett, airboat Half track association, and the 1st United Methodist Church of Okeechobee. She was very artistic and enjoyed painting, sewing, golf, saltwater fishing and hunting. she is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Jimmy Compton of Okeechobee; children: Ken Wolter (Susan) Wasilla, AK., Kathy Schwier (Mark) of Okeechobee, Fl.; stepchildren: crystal Bledsoe (Randy) of West Palm Beach, Fl., Steve Compton of West Palm Beach, Fl., Cheryl Johndro (Tommy) of Royal Palm Beach, Fl., Melissa Hinson (Bobby) of Bristow, Ok., Jackie Lawson of West Palm Beach, Fl., grandchildren: Kristy Busby (Jamie), stacey Lowe, Justin Schwier (Carrie) Maranda Walter, Shannon Haas (Brandon), Jennifer Wolter, Alison Matthews (Tim), Ashley Frost (Craig), Corey Hinson (Tiffany), Shannon Hinson, Nathan Johnson and Hayley Johnson. Her brother Bill Farrell of Waynesville, North Carolina. In addition she is survived by ten great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and loving friends. The visitation will be Saturday November 13, 2010 beginning at 1:00 pm and service time of 2:00 pm at the Memory Gardens Chapel of Lake Worth, 3041 Kirk Road, West Palm Beach, Florida. An additional Memorial Services will be held in Okeechobee on Sunday, November 14, at the First United Methodist Church of Okeechobee at 2:00 pm. The family will be receiving friends at their home on sunday after the services. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Okeechobee, P. O. Box 1548, Okeechobee, Florida 34973. I remember Pat well when we were in High School. She was a very friendly and outgoing person.
