Lewistown - Walter Hayden Estes, 75, Moore area resident for 51 years, died Tuesday at
St. Joseph's hospital.
Mr. Estes was born Sept. 5, 1886, in Audobon county, Iowa. He was married to Effa Ellen
Edwards, Dec. 24, 1908. They moved to the Moore area in 1908.
Survivors include his widow, of Moore; four daughters, Olivia G. Estes, of Moore, Mrs. Iola
Ethel Denney, of Redding Calif., Mrs. Valine Ruth Madey, of Santa Clara, Calif., and Mrs.
Ardis Ellen Cordts, of Bay City, Mich.; three sons, Ted R. of Moore, Robert H. of Capertino,
Calif., and Joseph E. of Redding; two brothers and one sister, all of California.
He was a member of the Moore Methodist Community church.
Burial in Moore cemetery.
