Loretta F. Maune, 90, Washington, passed away Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center, Creve Coeur.

Mrs. Maune was born Aug. 12, 1916, in Washington, the daughter of David Marquart and wife Pauline, nee Overschmidt.
On May 6, 1939, she was united in marriage to Robert W. Maune at St. Francis Borgia Church, Washington.
Mrs. Maune was a member of the Washington Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and the Washington Elks Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Maune on July 14, 2001; one son, Donald Maune; three brothers, Paul Marquart, Herbert Marquart and David Marquart; and one sister, Anna Marie Ballmann.
She is survived by two sons, Robert "Moon" Maune and wife Bert, and Jerry Maune and wife Kathy, all of Washington; two daughters, Marilyn Wynne and husband Dennis, and Rita Griesheimer and husband John, all of Washington; one daughter-in-law, Donna Maune, Washington; two brothers, Joseph Marquart and wife Doris, Morton, Ill., and Alvin Marquart and wife Opal, Washington; five sisters, Cecelia Kleekamp and husband Fred, Washington, Martha Sieve, Ballwin, Vera Grey, Pueblo, Colo., Arlene Carey and husband Roger, El Cajon, Calif., and Janet Bell, Union; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 28, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Washington, with the Rev. James Byrnes officiating.
Burial was in St. Francis Borgia Cemetery, Washington.
Memorials to Our Lady of Lourdes Church are preferred.
The family was served by Miller Funeral Home, Washington.
