ASHLAND - Audrey Alice Park, 92, died Sept. 12, 2006, at Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita.

She was born Dec. 13, 1913, in Millerton, the daughter of Daniel and Alta Ora Duncan Prilliman. She attended country school south of Protection and graduated high school. Nearly a lifetime resident of Comanche County, she was co-owner and operator of Park Produce, Meade, for many years. She also operated an ice cream parlor in Meade and worked for Powell Department Store, Protection.

In June 1931, she married Clarence Park. He died Oct. 8, 1953.

She belonged to Ashland United Methodist Church, Coldwater Garden Club, Harmony HDU, Protection Mothers' Club Rebecca Lodge, Meade and Ashland Senior Center.

Survivors include: a son, Gilbert Noel Park, Ashland; two sisters, Marge Hughes, Vernal, Utah, and Zola Haxton, Blanchard, Okla.; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Claude "Bud" Prilliman and Ted Prilliman; and three sisters, Eva Goos, Dorothy Saxton and Leah Percifield.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Ashland United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Don Hasty and the Rev. Joe Conaway presiding. Burial will be in Protection Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to Ashland Senior Center Building Fund or Ashland United Methodist Church, both in care of Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater.
