BLANCHARDVILLE – Louis Michael Sauder, 80, died at his home on December 11. Mr. Sauder was formerly from Kansasville.

He was born in Kansasville on July 12, 1884, the son of Frederick and Gertrude Niesus Sauder. He spent his youth there and was married there on June 2, 1924, to the former Miss Margaret Weber, who preceded him in death in 1956. Mr. Sauder was employed at Massey Harris, Racine, before his retirement. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Dover.

Surviving are two sons, Fred, Blanchardville, and Elmer, Sturtevant; two daughters, Mrs. Cecilia Allen, Union Grove, and Mrs. Mary Ann Burch, Lake Villa, Illinois; 16 grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Edward Mutter of Kansasville.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 14, from St. Mary's, with Father Robert McCormick officiating. A rosary vigil was held Sunday evening at the Schutte, Werth and Daniels funeral home, Burlington.
