Mrs. Emma Koheler Blalock, 70 widow of David A. Blalock, died at 7:30 pm Monday in the home of her niece,Mrs.Gladys Scheen, 1336 E. Hickory street. She had been in ill health for a long time.

She was born in W.Salem in 1864. Her husband was David Albert Blalock, a former resident of Tuscola. The family lived in Decatur for several years until the death of Mr. Blalock four years ago. She then moved away but returned six months ago.

She was a member of the Zion Evangelical church in W. Salem. She leaves three sisters and a brother. Mrs. Carrie Meisenheimer, W. Salem, Mrs. Susan Fessel, Lancaster,Mrs. Maggie Strich, Olney and Henry Koheler, W. Salem. She also leaves the following step-children,Mrs. Etta Erwin, Decatur, H. M. Blalock and R. E. Blalock Springfield, John Blalock,Mrs. W.K. Sandmeyer all of Chicago, Mrs. James T. Blalock, Seattle,Washington and Mrs. Beulah Johnson, Los Angles, Calif.

Services will be 3:30 Wednesday at Dawson with burial in Greenwood cemetery
