Requiem High Mass for Mrs. Margaret Lorenz will be in St. James Catholic Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Lorenz, 83, died Tuesday in St. Mary's Hospital.
She was born in Dewey, April 3, 1883, a daughter of Henry and Mary Hannigan Hummel, and moved to Decatur in 1901. She was married to Ernest J. Lorenz Nov. 8, 1910, in Rantoul He died Oct. 3, 1959.
She is survived by two daughters, Marie Madia and Margaret Bohlen; three sons, Charles B., John E. and Henry D.; brother A. C. "Witt" Hummel, Dewey; one sister, Mrs. Jane Quirk, Champaign; 10 grandchildren. One brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
