Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Perry Davis and Lola James Lupo, and was the widow of Thomas Earl Thompson. She was a homemaker, and was a member of Augusta Road Baptist Church.
Surviving are a sister, Betty Thompson; and two brothers, Perry Lupo, and his wife, Kathryn, of Greenville, and John Thomas Lupo, and his wife, Lillian, of Tocoma, Wash.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred S. Lupo; her parents; and her stepmother, Rebecca Lupo.
Memorials may be made to Augusta Road Baptist Church, 1823 Augusta Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel, with visitation prior to the service, from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West.
