Samuel C. Roemer, 80, formerly of Juneau, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 1990 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford. He was born Dec. 5, 1909 in Rubicon, the son of Charles and Emma (Bandelow) Roemer. He was married to Evelyn Leischer, Feb. 1, 1936 in Hartford. He attended Faith Bible Alliance Church in Neosho. He was a former member of Teamsters Union Local No. 695, and retired in 1974 after working 40 years at Dairyland Co-op., Milbrew, Inc. Survivors include two daughters, Sylvia (Frederick) Kuck, Neosho, and Elaine (Gordon) Boerst, Juneau; one daughter-in-law, Maria Roemer, Horicon; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother William Roemer, Hartford; one brother-in-law, George Kerch, Des Plaines, Ill.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn, one son Timothy, three brothers, and six sisters. Friends may call at the church only, Tuesday from 5 p.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society. The Berndt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
