Terrance was united in marriage on July 25, 1970 in Leland, IL to the former Jean V. Williamson, and they spent 35 happy years of their lives together. He was a graduate of the DeVry Institute, and was employed, for many years, as an Engineer by Lucent Technologies. Mr. Ohme was a former member of Our Savior Luthern Church in Sandwich, IL. Terry was also a member of the Leland Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed being out of doors, especially fishing and target shooting. Mr. Ohme was a talented woodworker, who loved making things for his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Jean V. Ohme, of Leland, IL; his children, Douglas Ohme, and his dear friend, Jennifer Tovrea of Sandwich, IL, Michael Ohme of Sandwich, IL, Gregory (Nicole) Ohme of Earlville, IL, and Christine Ohme of Leland, IL; his grandchildren, Alyssa and Elyot Ohme of Earlville, IL; his mother, Berline Ohme of Earlville, IL; his brothers, Kevon (Pamela) Ohme of Leland, IL and Garry (Julie) Ohme of Leland, IL; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elyot Ohme.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 29, 2005 at the new Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory, 1275 S. County Line Rd., Sandwich, IL. Interment will follow in the Little Indian Creek Cemetery in rural Leland, IL.
Friends may call from 5:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 28, 2005 at the new Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory in Sandwich, IL, with a Masonic Service to be held at 8:00 PM.
