PROMINENT FARMER EXPIRES AT 68
Chesterfield: Walter Fosnot, 88, prominent farmer, died at the family resident on RR 1, Anderson north of Chesterfield, at 12:15 p.m. Monday.
Surviving are the daughter Mrs. Mildred Spangler, who lived with him, 4 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 3 brothers, Elmer Fosnot of Indianapolis, and Albert and William Fosnot both of Anderson, RR 1 and one sister, Mrs. Mary Lawler of RR 1 Anderson.
The body was taken to the Polhemus and Shirey funeral home at Daleville and will be returned to the residence Tuesday evening where friends may be received after 7 pm.
Funeral services will take place Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Bethany Christian Church with the Rev. Dewey Hole of Gas City and Rev. Kermit Pugh, pastor of the Bethany Christian Church officiating. Burial will take place at Nelson Cem.
