Funeral services are pending for Mr. Norman C. Hamby, 62, of 605 E. Adams St.
Mr. Hamby, a mechanic and dragline operator for many years, died at 2:30 pm Saturday in Mercy Hospital. He was born in Crossville, Tenn., and was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his wife, Marie M. Hamby; three sons, Frank, John and Bill Hamby; three daughters, Mary H. Rocha, Dorothy H. Garcia and Eleanor H. Flores; 23 grandchildren and other relatives.
The body is in the family residence.
Garza Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
