MARTHA MORGENROTH
Martha Jean Morgenroth, 63, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday Jan, 23, 1992 at home after a lengthy illness. She was a member of Godfrey Congregational United Church of Christ and was employed at Morgenroth Nrusery.
Born Jan 1, 1929 in Alton, she was the daughter of the later Joseph L. and Nettie (Lenhardt) Fischer.
She married David P. Morgenroth on Jan. 2, 1952 in Alton and he survives.
Also surviving are a daughter Melissa Morgenroth of Godfrey, three sons, David P. Morgenroth,Jr of Kirkwood, MO, Matt Morgenroth of The Hague, Netherlands, and Luke Morgenroth of Godfrey; three grandchildren, three brothers Maurice Fischer of Palm Harbor, FLorida and Joseph adn Gordon Fischer both fo Alton, and two sisters, Evelyn Fischer of Bethalto and Joanne Hunt of Bridgeton, MO.
A sister Virginia Goeken preceded her in death.
Burial is in Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
