Pauline Repplinger
Mrs. Pauline Repplinger, 89, 319 w. 14th St., died at 3:35 p.m. Monday at St. John's Medical Center. She had been ill health four months.
Mrs. Repplinger was born Sept. 28, 1884, at Lockwood. She had lived in Joplin since 1889. She married Matthew K. Repplinger June 12, 1906, at Joplin. Mr. and Mrs. Repplinger owned and operated the Joplin Ice Cream Co., later the Repplinger Ice Cream Co. Mr. Repplinger died in July 20,1945, and Mrs Repplinger continued to operate the business until 1963, when she closed the company. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, the Niangua Study Club and the Joplin Woman's Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Miss Evalyn F. Repplinger, of the home; a sister, Mrs. William Warmack, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; six grandchildren and seven great - grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Thornhill – Dillon Mortuary. Donald D. Loesch, minister, will officiate. Burial will be in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dr. William Roehling, Ord Roehling, Delmar Fratwell, Kenneth Kiser, Ronald Apfel and Lyle A. Shrouf.
