John J. Engkraf. Recitation of the rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 1995, in the Stone Funeral Home in Upland, Calif. A Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 5, in St. Peter and St. Paul Catholic Church in Alta Loma, Calif., where he was a member.

Mr. Engkraf, a resident of Alta Loma, died March 31 at age 100.

A native of Russia, he lived in Portland for 72 years and worked 15 years for Meier & Frank. He was a World War I veteran of the U.S. Army and was commander of American Legion Post 52 in Portland.

Surviving are his son, J. Edward of Alta Loma, Calif.; daughter, Catherine E. Hall of Newport Beach, Calif.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Interment in Riverside National Cemetery.
