Four years later, she married William A. Levingston at Nichols in Tioga County, New York. By the 1870 US census, they were residing at Princeton, Illinois. Her brother Samuel was living with them at the time.
By 1880 Margaret and her husband had moved to Freeport, and so had her brother (who was by then married).
Her husband died at Freeport, and Margaret remained there in their home on Clark Street where she later passed away.
