Muench - Brumleve
Miss Adela Brumleve, oldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Frank Brumleve of St Francis Township became the bride of Anthony Muench son of Mrs Joseph Muench of Omaha, Nebraska Monday morning, June 4th, 1934, at 7:30 o'clock in St. Francis Church, Teutopolis. Rev Ephrem Muench, OFM, of St Peter's Church, Chicago, a brother of the groom and a former pastor of St Francis Church was celebrant at the solemn High Mass, while Rev. Alphonse Coan, OFM, and Rev. Blase Hakman, OFM, a cousin of the bride, both of St. Joseph's Seminary this city were deacon and sub-deacon respectively.
Witnesses to the ceremony were her sister, Miss Josephine and brother, Norbert Brumleve.
The bride was beautifully attired in a gown of white lace with a trailing tulle veil. Her flowers were calla lilies. Her bridesmaid wore a dress of blue with accessories of white. The groom and his best man wore the conventional dark business suits.
A wedding feast was served to the immediate family members, Mr. and Mrs. Muench leaving for a honeymoon in the East during the afternoon.
The bride taught in the Effingham County schools for the past several years having taught in the Teutopolis Township High School for two years past. The groom has employment at Omaha where the young couple will make their future home.
THE PRESS joins the many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Muench in wishing for them much happiness throughout the course of their married life.
