According to early census records (1880-1900), Mary lived with her parents and siblings in Freemans Creek, Lewis County, WV. After her marriage in 1909 and according to the 1910 census, she and her husband lived with her brother-in-law James and sister-in-law Lulu, at Meigs Avenue in Clarksburg, WV, about 45 miles North of Orlando in Harrison County. However, sometime around 1911, they move into their own home at 535 Caroline also in Clarksburg. Between 1915-1917, they once again moved across town to Philippi Street where they owned their house. According to the 1930 census, they moved south about 35 miles to Freemens Creek in Lewis County, probably along US Route 119. By 1942, she was living down the road in Alum Bridge, WV. It appears she stayed in the Lewis County area until her death in 1963.
Mary Loretta Fahey married Thomas Andrew Conley, Jr., son of Thomas Andrew Conley and Mary Ellen Dempsey, on 18 Oct 1909 in Lewis County, WV. It appears Thomas and Mary had eight children (Mary, Anna, George, Thomas, Loretta, Phillip, Robert, and Kathryn). Thomas passed away as an infant at 8 months.
