Paul David Hillen Mar. 6, 1954 to Nov. 30, 2010 Paul was born on March 6, 1954 in Waterloo, IA to John and Kathryn Hillen. He attended school in Cedar Falls, IA, graduating from Cedar Falls High School in 1972. In 1978 he graduated from Bartlesville Wesleyan College with an Associate's Degree in Music Ministry. In the early 1980s, Paul moved to Oklahoma City, where he worked for the Espirit Company, writing commercial jingles for a number of local businesses. He performed regularly with the groups, "Clique" and "Recliners." From 1994 to the present, Paul worked with the music ministry band of Newchurch. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister. Survivors include two sisters: Linda Shirbroun, from Glendora, CA; and Karolyn Sorge, from Denver, IA; one brother, John Hillen, of Cedar Falls, IA; and two nieces and two nephews. A memorial service will be held at Newchurch, Tuesday, Dec. 7th, at 10:00 AM. Memorials may be directed to Newchurch, 9201 North Rockwell, Oklahoma City, OK 73132.
