Robert F. Kwiatkowski, age 81 of Carleton, Michigan died on December 11, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital. Friends may visit in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Carleton Chapel on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 from 1 to 8 PM. A Rosary service will be held at 6 PM. Funeral Services will be held in St. Patrick Catholic Church on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 10 AM. He will lie in state from 9 AM until time of service. Father Robert A. Bauer will officiate the service. Burial will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery.
Born June 20, 1929 in Belleville, Michigan he was the son of Frank and Esther (Bortz) Kwiatkowski. On September 13, 1952 he married Florence Boron in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Carleton, Michigan. He was employed with Ford Motor Company in Ypsilanti as a production worker for 33 ½ years until retiring in 1980. Robert was a member of the UAW Local 849, St. Patrick Catholic Church, and St. Patrick Ushers Club. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are his wife, Florence Kwiatkowski of Carleton; 3 sons, Robert Kwiatkowski of Northville, Ronald (Krystal) Kwiatkowski of Carleton and Gary (Karen) Kwiatkowski of Carleton; daughter, Nancy (Frank) Atkinson of Carleton; 4 grandchildren, Kylie & Julianne Atkinson of Carleton and Karlee & Chelsea Kwiatkowski of Carleton; brother, Frank Kwiatkowski of Belleville; 2 sisters, Genevieve Johnson of Belleville and Edna Hungerford of Willis.
