Funeral services for Max M. Mahlmann, 53, of Richmond, will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Triska-Davis-Dawson Funeral Home Chapel in Rosenberg, with the Revs. Donald Kolkmeier and George Kuebler officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Mahlmann died early today in Methodist Hospital. He was a well-known area farmer and had been named "Farmer of the Year" previously.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Helen Mahlmann; daughter, Miss Pamela Faye Mahlmann of Richmond; two sons, Ernest and Bruce Mahlmann, both of Richmond; two sisters, Mrs. Della Schultz of Washington and Mrs. Isa Hackstedt of Needville; three brothers, John Mahlmann of Damon, Walter Mahlmann of Houston, and Arthur Mahlmann of Rosenberg.
Friends may call after 8 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel.
