Burnice F. Johns, 82,437 N. East St., died at 4
p.m., Monday, Dec. 4, 1995, at Millers Merry Manor.
She was born Aug. 29, 1913, in Sharpsville, to Joel and Sabrah (Hoback) Cage. Jan. 27, 1934, in Sharpsville, she married Charles Johns, who preceded her in death
on Dec. 8,1992. She was a cook at Lincoln Elementary
School in Tipton. She attended Sharpsville schools and
graduated in 1931. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Tipton, and a member of the Rosary Chapter 66 of the Order of Eastern Star in Tipton. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, E. Robert Johns and Daniel L. and Pam
Johns, all of Tipton; one daughter-in-law, Marilyn Johns, Greentown; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joretta and Dick Fakes, Tipton, Joyce and Richard Beerbower, Eaton; one brother, Eldon Cage of Tipton; one sister, Jeanette Moree
of Kokomo; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son and three brothers.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Porter Funeral Home in Tipton. Carl Wright will officiate. Burial will be in Sharpsville Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to-9 p.m.
Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be
made to Ronald McDonald House.
