Julius W. Behring, Sr. 70, of 1130 Alabama Ave., died at St. Nicholas hospital this morning following a short illness. Born in Germany, March 2, 1877, the deceased came to the United States with his parents in 1890 and made his home in Sheboygan since that time. He was married to Miss Anna Boettner on Oct. 26, 1897, at St. Peter Claver church. Mr. Behring was employed at Crocker Chair Company for many years, and was an employe of Chicago and North Western railroad Company for 22 years prior to his retirement several years ago.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Julius and George; a brother, William; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Zutz and Mrs. Lena Kopplinger, all of Sheboygan, and six grandchildren and one great grandchild. One son, a daughter, two brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at Ramm Funeral home and at St. Peter Claver church, Rev. C. J. Hausner, pastor will officiate and burial will be made on the family lot in Holy Cross Cemetery.
