FERRIDAY — Services for Mary Jane Adams, 69, of Sulphur, La., formerly of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital in Sulphur, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Adams was born Sept. 15, 1941, in Foules, La., the daughter of Theodore and Ethel Terrell. She was a member of Chopique Baptist Church.

She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing Pokeno in her group with Judy Knippers, Liz Taylor, Annette Savant, Debbie Smith and Skip Daigle.

Mrs. Adams enjoyed spending time with her special friends, Billy Guidry and the late Virginia Guidry.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Joe Adams; one son-in-law, Homer Gerald Ellis and one granddaughter, Kaylon Michelle Ellis.

Survivors include two daughters, Debbie DuBois and husband, Robert, and Dana Ellis and Keith Hughes; grandchildren, Brandon DuBois and Stacie Clark, Randé and Woody Goodly Jr., Roy Finley and Jessica Havens, Justin Ellis, David Hughes, Edward Hughes and Dillon Hughes; seven great-grandchildren, Zoey Grace Ellis, Hanna Michelle Ellis, Camron Hughes, Jayden Hughes, Myleé Anne DuBois, Carter C. DuBois and Caden Cooley; and five siblings, J.T. Terrell and wife, Leta Faye, Faye-etta BeBee and husband, Walter, Martha Rice and husband, Samuel, Marion Terrell and wife, Frankie, and Lola Patt and husband, Lynn.

Pallbearers will be Justin Ellis, Brandon DuBois, Woody Goodly, Roy Finley, David Hughes, Edward Hughes and Dillon Hughes.
