Former City Resident Dies In Indianapolis
Dr. Cyrus D. Vaughn, age 76, former Bloomington resident, died Sunday at the St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. Funeral rites will be Wednesday at the Gilgal cemetery near Heltonville. Dr. Vaughn, a contract carpenter when he lived in Bloomington was a member of the local National Gurad Company H. He removed to Indianapolis and for some twenty five years prior to retirement practiced as a naturopatic physician. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Flora Bender and Mrs. Ella Clark, both of Indianapolis. Dr. Vaugh was the father of the late Technical Sergeant Robert D. Vaughn who was killed in aerial action over Germany last March.
