Adolphine Sack was born 19 April 1791, in what is now Germany. She married Arnold Friedrich Ploeger 24 Jun 1805. At the time of her marriage she was 16 years old. The couple had 6 children, 5 of whom would immigrate to America. Adolphine immigrated to the US in 1855, at the age of 64. She lived with her son Ferdinand Ploeger until her death in 1878, in Round Top, TX.
