Harvey Simon
Harvey William Simon, 60, of W3579 Highway 149, Town of Taycheedah, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 1996, at his home.
He was born Sept. 13, 1936, in St. Peter, a son of Bernard and Florence Sabel Simon. On Oct. 5,
1963,, he married Louann Thome at St. John the Baptist Church in Johnsbutg.
Mr. Simon was employed as a truck driver for International Paper Co. He was previously employed at Motor Transport and ANR Transport Systems. He was a veteran, of the U.S. Army, serving from July 1959 to August 1962. He was a member of St. Peter's Church in St. Peter, Knights of Columbus Council 664 and Teamsters Local 200.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sharon Simon of. Fond du Lac and Jayne Simon of Los Angeles; one son, Michael and his wife Tammy of Marshfield; one grandson, Brett; his mother of Fond du Lac; two brothers, Elmer and his wife Joan of St: Peter, and Dave and his wife Kathy of Fond du Lac; and his mother-in-law, Marcella Thome of Johnsburg.
Preceding him in death were his father; a nephew and his father-in-law.
Services: Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home,and at
10 a.m. at St. Peter's Church in St. Peter. The Rev. William Heffron will officiate. Entombment will be at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home where a parish vigil will be held at 7 p.m.
