Jeremiah H. Arnsdorff, Rincon

SPRINGFIELD, Ga., Dec 1 –
Funeral services for Jeremiah H. Arnsdorff, who died at his home in Rincon Thursday, will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at Goshen Methodist church, with Rev. Ernest Phillips, pastor and Rev. C. E. Carriker, of Savannah, officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ray Arnsdorff, Eugene Ackerman, Harold Arnsdorff, Walter L. Arnsdorff, Henry Arnsdorff, and M. O. Seckinger.

The body will be taken to the church at 3 p.m. by the Leslie Thompson Funeral home of Springfield.

RINCON, Ga. Nov 30 – Jeremiah H. Arnsdorff, 92, died yesterday after a short illness. A native of Effingham County and a retired farmer, he was a member of the Goshen Methodist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ethel Coker Arnsdorff; eight daughters, Mrs. Allie D. Stern, San Diego, Calif., Mrs. E. J. Hinely of Savannah, Mrs. Vienna Graham of Savannah, Mrs. Wallace Pierpont of Savannah, Mrs. F. W. Bookhoop of Savannah, Mrs. Ray L. Seckinger, Marietta, Ohio, Mrs. James L. Pless of Natchez, Miss., Mrs. A. G. Oglesby of Rincon; nine sons, Harry D., Harold E., Mallie H. and Ralph F. Arnsdorff, all of Savannah; W. R., Charlie and J. C. Arnsdorff, all of Rincon and James Marvin Arnsdorff of Garden City and Edward Lamar Arnsdorff of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; 33 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The body is at Leslie Thompson Funeral Home in Springfield pending arrangements.
