OBITUARY :
DANIEL OLIVER WINGERT, aged 69 years, died at his home, 220 East North street, Wednesday night at 9 o'clock from complications following a stroke of paralysis about nine years ago.

He was born in Buchanan valley, November 11, 1857, the son of Daniel O. and Julia (Omer) Wingert, and moved to Waynesboro about 45 years ago. He was employed as a blacksmith in the Geiser Manufacturing company shops for 32 years. The deceased was a member of the Reformed church at Arendtsville, Adams county.

He is survived by his widow, Mary E. (Reed) Wingert; two sons, Howard, at home, and Alvey, Quincy; one sister, Miss Mary E. Wingert, New Oxford, and two brothers, Amos, Berlin, Pa., and James, New Oxford.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. N. W. Brechbiel at the home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Burns Hill cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to attend without further notice.
