Irma is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lila and Myron Bruns of New Ulm; son, Marlowe Grau of New Ulm; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; a great great grandson; brothers, Mike Frank, Otto Frank, and Marvin "Buddy" Frank all of Sleepy Eye; a sister-in-law, Caroline Grau of New Ulm; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joseph and Mildred Grau of New Ulm. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roman Grau on March 12, 1986; twin stillborn infants, David and Diane Grau; sisters, Sylvia Holm, Frieda Johns, Lillian Frank; and brothers, Fred Frank and Larry Frank.
Irma Margaret Frank was born on April 20, 1914 in Milford Township, Brown County to Alois and Mathilda (Fiemeyer) Frank. She married Roman Grau on October 9, 1934 in New Ulm. After marriage they lived in New Ulm and she had worked as a cook at Turner Hall, DMLC and the New Ulm Public Schools. She had been a resident of the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm since April of 2002. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm.
