Peter E. Blessing, 65, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Health Care, Florence. He was a resident of Union, Ky. Peter was vice president of flight operations for ASTAR Air Cargo.
He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserves, retiring with the rank of captain, and a member of St. Timothy Church.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Blessing; sons, Peter, Russell and Garrett; daughters, Amy, Molly and Katherine; brother, Robert Blessing; and three grandchildren, Carter, Tyler and Lindsey.
Burial with Military Honors occured in Arlington Cemetery, April 20, 2011.
