Ricky was born with a rare form of leprechaunism. He spent one year of his short life at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland where his condition was studied by many doctors and researchers. Ricky came home (to Lewisburg) and was loved by his family until his passing at the age of 3 years, 4 months and 21 days. His life had an enormous impact on all who knew and loved him.
