Mr. Boyce Lee Dalton, 98, of Cowpens, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Magnolia Manor. A native of Spartanburg County, he was the widower of Nanny Quinn Dalton and the son of the late Roland Desmond Dalton, Sr. and Bertha Catherine Cash Dalton. He retired from the textile industry and was a member of Orchard Street Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, Glenn Dalton and his wife Bobbie of Cowpens; one daughter, Doris Grant and her husband Glen of Spartanburg; one sister, Odessa Crow of Aiken; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, James Harold Dalton.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Orchard Street Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Dean Blanton officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
