Nancy was born to Timothy and Mary (Bishop) Hulit. Records I have found say she was born in Monroe, Richland, Ohio. I am leaving what is posted, since this information was in cemetery records.

On December 12, 1863 she was united in marriage to Peter Berry. To this union 8 known children were born, four boys and four girls.

At the age of 38 in 1881 she was widowed, with her children ranging in age from 17 to 2 years of age.

It is unknown if she and her husband had relocated to Nebraska, but within a year of being widowed, she married Jeremiah L. "Jerry" Maines, in Jefferson County, Nebraska, a widower with no known children. She and Jerry had two daughters born to them. One not long after his death.

Nancy was widowed again in 1885, when Jerry passed away.

In 1892 she married Michael Blue Westfall, with them living in Fairbury, Jefferson, Nebraska.

Michael Blue passed away in 1914 and sometime after that she moved to Sheridan, to live with one of her daughters Lily Etta (Berry) McCally and her husband. This is recorded in 1930 census, only they have Lily's middle int, as A.

Nancy passed away at age 90 leaving many decedents to morn her passing.

Grover E. Thompson owned the plot according to cemetery records, and it is unknown if he was a family member.
