Sunday night Mr. Daniel Sell, a much respected citizen of Newry, died at his home in that place, aged 89 years, 8 months and 10 days. He had been a resident of that community for over sixty years and was one of its oldest inhabitants. He was a member of the Leamersville German Baptist church and for years had been prominent in the same. He is survived by his wife and the following children: George and Daniel of Missouri; Joseph, of Nebraska; John, of Leamersville; James, Brice, David and Simon, of Newry. The funeral services were held in the German Baptist church, at Leamersville, at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
