MILLERSBURG: Larissa Kay "Lori" Clark, age 40, of Millersburg, Ohio, passed away suddenly, Friday Jan. 7, 2011 at Pomerene Hospital, Millersburg, Ohio.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Brother Larry Lamp officiating. Burial will be at Baker Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was born July 23, 1970 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the daughter of Jim and Deb (Lamp) Schafer. On August 11, 1990 she married Rob Clark and he survives.
She was a 1988 graduate of West Holmes High School and the Mansfield School of Nursing. Lori had worked for Wooster Community Hospital, Holmes County Hospice and was currently employed at Pomerene Hospital as the employee Health Nurse. She attended Locus Grove Church of Christ and was Vice President of the PTO at Clark Elementary. Lori enjoyed scrapbooking and flower gardens. She loved the lake, going boating and swimming. She also enjoyed camping. Lori loved her children and her nieces and nephews, they were her life. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Rob are two children, Mathew James Clark and Karrissa Danielle Clark both of the home; her parents, Jim and Deb Schafer; two brothers, Scott Schafer and Rick (Angie) Schafer both of Millersburg, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Gabby, Khloe and Jarrett Schafer, Angie, Eric, Steve, Kelly, Josh, Laura and Ryan; special aunts, Judy Lamp and Eloise (Richard) Croskey both of Millersburg, Ohio; uncles, Terry (Ann) Tuller and Larry (Barb) Tuller both of Columbus, Ohio; her molther-in-law, Lois Clark of Berlin, Ohio; three brother-in-laws, Richard (Betty) Clark of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Ron (Brenda) Clark of Millersburg, Ohio Roger (Barb) Clark of Berlin, Ohio; several cousins; and her Pomerene family.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Wayne and Maxine Schafer; maternal grandparents, Delburn and Thelma Lamp; and her father-in-law, Howard Clark.
