Amber Lynn Wesley, 21, of Lang Farm Road, Marietta, died Tuesday (July 22, 2008) at her home.
She was born Oct. 24, 1986, in Cincinnati, Ohio, a daughter of Steve Allen Wesley and Carol Lynn Stiers Alsept. She had been a telemarketer at Influent in Reno. She graduated from Waterford High School and was a member of Mount Hope Bible Camp.
She is survived by two daughters, Victoria and Roselyn Wesley of the home; her mother, Carol Alsept, and stepfather, Wayne Alsept, who raised her from infancy; and loving aunt and uncle, Jennifer and Bill Young.She was preceded in death by her father, Steve Allen Wesley.
Private graveside services will be held Monday (July 28, 2008) at Center Cemetery with Evangelist Zack Waite officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly. Wesley's body was found strangled, bound and wrapped in a blanket at her Lang Farm Road residence. at the time of her murder Her two childern were 2 years and 7 months, there was a history of domestic violence in the relationship. Noal Quattlebaum 22. pleaded guilty to the 2008 killing of his live-in girlfriend, Amber Lynn Wesley. 21. and was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison for murder.
