John C. Seith, 78, Dies; Rites Held Saturday

John Charlie Seith, 78, of 1910 Cleveland died Thursday afternoon en route to a local hospital.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Connally Funeral Home, with Rev. Kluge officiating. Burial was in Waco Memorial Park.

Mr. Seith was born in Tours, July 3, 1893 and moved to Waco in 1933. He worked as a guard for William Cameron Company for 24 years. Since retirement he had worked for Pioneer Savings and Loan Association parking lot until a month ago.

He is survived by his wife, Selma; three daughters, Mrs. Wayland (Ruby) Kreder of 3600 No. Twentieth and Mrs. Elsie Eads and Mrs. Ruth Ella Davison, both of Houston; four sons, Wilfred Seith of 2708 Burnett, Elwood Seith of 3517 Belmont, Edwin Seith of Guadalajara, Mexico, and Clarence Seith of 1910 Cleveland; four sisters, Mrs. Annie Wimmer of Muenster, Mrs. Mary Uptmore of West, Mrs. Rosie Schroeder of Windhorst and Mrs. Sophie Uptmore of West; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
