Oscar Rudolph Schott, age 102, of Mico, TX passed away at his home on Oct. 24, 2004, surrounded by his family at his bedside. He was born on Oct. 17, 1902 in Red Bluff (Bandera County), TX to the late Joseph and Clothilda Haby Schott. He is preceded in death by his brother, Cornelius Schott and sister, Celine Jagge. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Estella Haegelin Schott of Mico; son and daughter-in-law, Leroy and Kathy Schott of Mico, TX; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and James Rutledge of Adkins, TX and Doris and Bobby Combs of San Antonio, TX; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Clara A. Bippert of Mico; brother-in-law, Leon Haegelin of Castroville and numerous nieces and nephews. The Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home will be open for visitation on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004 from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church in Castroville. The Rosary will be Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. at the Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. Entombment will follow the rosary at Holy Cross Mausoleum in Schertz, TX.
