Mr. Berry was a native of Louisville and had been a resident of Biloxi since 1930. He was a veteran of the Army and served during World War II. He had been retired from Munro Petroleum since 1978 as plant manager. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Biloxi, was a 32 Degree Mason of McLeod Lodge in Ocean Springs and was a Shriner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Marcus Berry Sr. and Annie Bradley Berry; and a sister, Miriam Berry.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Lee Latil Berry of Biloxi; and a brother, Dr. Bradley D. Berry Sr. of Roanoke, Va.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi, where friends may call an hour before service time. Burial will be in Southern Memorial Park. Page: A7
