OBITUARY:
TOOLMAKER IS DEAD AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Kemper P. Smith, Warner Gear Company toolmaker, died at 1:40 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home, 115 Ward avenue, after an illness of eight months. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Lucille M. Smith; three sons, Jerry, Philip, and James Smith; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eli Smith, and two brothers, Merrill L. and Ervin E. Smith.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. Father E. J. Houlihan at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Burial will be in Black Cemetery. The body will be returned to the home late this afternoon from the Meeks mortuary.
