Dave Brunner, 91, of Greeley, died Saturday, Feb. 6, at Centennial Health Care Center in Greeley. Mr. Brunner was born April 3, 1907, to Henry and Kathryn (Daubert) Brunner in Liebau, Russia. On Jan. 23, 1927, he married Elizabeth Hankle in Windsor.
Mr. Brunner came to Windsor as a child with his parents. They farmed in the Windsor area at what is now 35th Avenue in Greeley. After his parents' death, Mr. Brunner continued farming in the Greeley area and then in the Farmers Spur area northwest of Greeley, where he farmed for 38 years. Mr. & Mrs. Brunner moved to Greeley in 1976 and have lived here since. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ.
Survivors are his wife, Elizabeth Bruner of Greeley; a daughter; a son; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. A son Robert Brunner, and a granddaughter Kathy Jo Brunner, are deceased.
