Lorraine (Winder) Bungert, 69 died at her home. She was born Sept. 6.1918, in Windsor to George E. and Katherine (Winder) Winder. On Dec. 11, 1938, she married Alec Bungert in Windsor.
Mrs. Bungert attended Windsor schools and graduated from Windsor High School in May 1938. She worked for Windsor Mercantile Store, Great Western Sugar Co.,and S&M Grocery Store in Windsor. She was a member of Windsor United Methodist Church and the VFW Axillary in Windsor.
Survivors are her husband, Alec, a daughter, Mrs. David (Colleen) Berens, three sisters, Mrs. Carl (Wilma) Swanson, Mille Jacoby and Esther Fry; two brothers, Lloyd and Albert Winder, all of Windsor, and two grandchildren. A brother, Walter Winder, is deceased. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Windsor United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Windsor. Friends may visit from noon Sonday until noon Tuesday at Windsor Memorial Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Windsor United Methodist Church, Hospice Inc. of Weld County, or the Cancer Research Foundation in care of Windsor Memorial Chapel.
