Aged Resident Of Glenbeulah Dies At Home Of Her Daughter
Glenbeulah—Mrs. Wilhelmina Iserloth, widow of Christian Iserloth, a long-time resident of Glenbeulah, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Beck, Glenbeulah, following a lingering illness. She was eighty years of age. Mrs. Iserloth was born in Brandenburg, Germany, on January 6, 1851, and came to America with her parents at the age of six years. On September 24, 1866, she was married to Christian Iserloth in the town of Rhine and later the couple resided on a farm in the town of Greenbush, then moving to Glenbeulah where they made their home continuously for the past forty-five years.
Mr. Iserloth was one of the early settlers of Glenbeulah and perhaps knew more about the history of Sheboygan County than any other living person. He and Mrs. Iserloth were prominent residents of Glenbeulah and in 1928 they celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary.
The survivors are the following children; Mrs. Fred Beck, Mrs. J. Deicher and Arthur Iserloth, all of Glenbeulah, Christian Iserloth of St. Cloud and Alfred Iserloth of North Fond du Lac. There are also five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mrs. Iserloth's husband died nine months ago and an only brother, William Lindow of town of Rhine was buried today.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at the Fred Beck home at Glenbeulah. Rev. S Bullough of the Congregational church at Plymouth will officiate and burial will be in Walnut Grove cemetery.
