Katherine Dietz, 94, Greeley, died at North Colorado Medical Center. She was born to Adam P. and Mary Elizabeth (Dill) Alles in Walter, Russia. She came to the USA with her parents in 1905, settling in Lincoln, Neb., where she attended schools. They came to Greeley in 1909. On Dec 25, 1915, she married Henry J. Dietz at St. Paul's Congregational Church in Greeley. After her marriage she was a housewife and homemaker.
She was the last charter member of St. Paul's Ladies Aid, was a charter member of AHSGR, a member of Amico Club, Jane Jefferson Club, and St. Paul's Congregational Church.
Survivors were her husband, Henry of Greeley; 3 daughters, Alvine, Irene, Vicky; four sisters, Mrs. David (Lydia) Miller, Mrs. Charles (Amelia) McDonald, Victoria Willman and Charlotte Hill, all of Greeley; a brother, Victor Alles of Greeley; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Two infant sons, a grandson, a sister and two brothers were deceased.
