Mrs. Kathryn Kanzler, 76, formerly of Fort Lupton, died Saturday, Aug. 6, at Bonell Good Samaritan Center where she was a resident.
She was born Nov. 22, 1905, in Frank, Russia, to Conrad and Kathryn Margaret *(Weiderspoon) Schmidt.
On April 18, 1926, she was married to Conrad Kanzler at Loveland. He died August 1954 [5 Nov 1948].
Mrs. Kanzler moved to Sugar City from Russia in 1907. She was primarily a homemaker, but also had worked for Fort Lupton Canning Co. for many years.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Survivors include Miss Esther Bertha Kanzler of Greeley; four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Kanzler and Mrs. Christina Asmussen, both of Platteville, Mrs. Molly Weaver of Pocatello, Idaho, and Mrs. Lydia Zalace of Evans; and a brother, John Schmidt of Greeley.
Services will be at 2 p. m. Tuesday from the Macy Allnutt Drawing Room. Past Ted Meter will officiate. Interment will be in Linn Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary until noon Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Schaefer Rehabilitation Cancer Society in care of the mortuary.
