Alfred Green Carter and Mary Elizabeth Cloyd were married in 1876. Mary died of pneumonia at age 40 when my Grandmother was just a little over 2 years old, which may explain why there was not much known about her side of the family!
Alfred & Mary Elizabeth were married for 23 yrs.!

.. A work still in progress . . . However, I think I've sorted out who's, who in gathering all of the North & Carter family histories! If I've missed anything please don't hesitate to request a change so that I have as accurate information as possible posted here.. :-)
