James R. Caldwell of Campbellsville, son of the late Henry Read Caldwell and Louise Phillips Caldwell, was born in Harlan County, Kentucky, March 22, 1922. He died at 1:33 P.M., Tuesday, February 1, 2011 in Lebanon. Age: 88
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church.

He was a retired employee of Caulk Hardware in Campbellsville.

He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Navy.

He united in marriage to Pauline Bohanon January 26, 1960. She preceded him in death August 14, 1989.

He is survived by three daughters, one son and seven grandchildren: Lisa Mann and son, Chris of Campbellsville, Anita Korkordilos and son, Anthony of Milford, Connecticut, Sharon Bogardus and children, Tom and Michelle of Shelton, Connecticut and James Caldwell and wife, Linda and children, Judi, Anthony and Robert of Monson, Massachusetts; several great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
