Theophile Savoie Dies At 82 A Requiem High Mass was held in St. Michael's Catholic Church at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday for Theophile Savoie, 82, of Crowley. Savoie, a retired carpenter, was a native of St. Landry. He died Tuesday in the American Legion Hospital. He is survived by his widow, the former Melise Menard; two sons, Ison Lawrence of Lake Charles, and Joseph of LaJhyette; three step-sons, Dallas and Lawrence Duhon both of Crowley, and Eugene Duhon of Scott; five step daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Duhon, Mrs. EstaffPrejean, Mrs. Freddie Savoie, Mrs. Chester Pommier, all of Crowley, and Mrs. Andrus Broussard of Vidor, Texas; one brother, D. S. Savoie of Arnaudville; four sisters, Mrs. Felix Duplechin, Mrs. Morris Schexnayder, Mrs. Joe Bsgnaud, all of Rayne, and Mrs. Agnes Meaux of Crowley. SU grandchildren and 18 greatgrandchildren.
